MISSION STATEMENT

The Holy Scriptures

We believe in the verbal (every word) and plenary (complete) inspiration (God-breathed) of the Old and New Testaments; that they are the final authority of faith and life; that they are inerrant (without error) in the original writings; that they are preserved, that they are eternal, that they are sufficient, therefore they are the supreme standard of our beliefs, conduct, and creeds (Prov. 30:5, 6; John 17:17; Rev. 22:18, 19. (2) II Pet. 1:19-21; Acts 3:21; Jude 3. (3) II Pet. 1:19-21; II Sam. 23:2; Acts 1:16; I Cor. 2:13, 14. (4) II Tim. 3:16; Matt. 5:18; Gal. 3:16. (5) II Tim. 3:15; Rom. 1:16; I Cor. 10:6-12; Eph. 6:17; I Tim. 5:18; II Tim. 3:17; II Pet. 3:15, 16; John 10:35; Acts 17:11).

The Godhead

We believe that there is one and only one God, eternally existing in three persons — Father, Son, and Holy Spirit – who are co-equal, co-eternal, district persons yet identical in nature, essence, and being (Genesis 1:26; II Corinthians 13:14; Colossians 1:16-18; I John 5:1-8, John 16:7-15). We believe in the deity of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, His incarnation and begettal by the Holy Spirit and virgin birth, His sinless life, His miraculous works on earth, His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood on the cross, His bodily resurrection from the dead, His exaltation to the right hand of majesty on high as Lord, Priest, and Mediator, His personal return in power and glory to establish his kingdom on earth, and his ultimate triumph over Satan and the forces of darkness (Isaiah 7:14; Matthew 1:18-25; Mark 14:62; 16:19; Acts 1:9-11; Acts 4:10-12, 5:30-31; II Corinthians 5:21; Hebrews 7:25, 4:14, 7:25, 9:24). We believe in the deity of the Holy Spirit, the third person of the Holy Trinity, coequal with God the Father
